Painting Project

So we finally decided to change something about our house. We are painting three of the walls in our kitchen and family room a dark rustic blue. It was quite a task and really destroyed our house for about a week and a half. Actually, right now our furniture is still in the living room but that is because it is cooler in there right now and we want to fully line our curtains to keep out the heat. Kinsley wanted to help out and even had a brush of her own to use that she picked out at the store. We pulled out the stove to paint behind it and gave her that area to work with because we knew she really couldn't do too much damage back there with the paint job. It was funny because every once in a while she would come out and want to show us what picture she had painted on the wall. Kenton spent a lot of his time in a swing. Poor kid! Now that it is all done it looks great and actually makes the counters and cabinets in the kitchen stand out. We finished up with curtains that match the neutral walls in our house. I just thought I would share these pictures with you since this seems to be sort of my scrapbook at the moment.
